I took a biology of the honey bee class my senior year in undergrad, and 28 stings later, I was given more info about apis mellifera than i ever imagined! But huge respect for the bee, and as much as they are in the forefront of the insect world, I think their ecological impact is still misunderstood and unappreciated.
